"sells supra to buy turbo hahaha i'd recomend a bulkhead connector with just a normal union and olive. i done one similar was a relocation of a pipe from the turbo to the sump."

Take feed from sump. that's how it was done on my RS. 2 holes with baffles inside sump and then 2 pipes(bout 2-3 inches long) leading to swirl pot.

Cheers guys taking this all on board. I dread having a smoking turbo but im confident my mate knows what hes doing. Hes rebuilt loads of engines BPU'd TT supras and single turbo'd TT's too. He knows his stuff.

So meanwhile as the spending still continues im going to carry out a compression test in the next couple of weeks and see if any pistons etc need attention. I need all soldiers working at full potential so no slackers or it'll lead to a disaster no doubt. Might as well seeing as the engine will be opened up anyway.

"wow what a project!! good luck with it dazzi look forward to seeing how you get on. only question i do have (no offence ment at all here so please dont be offended) but why not just sell and buy a turbo'd supra? as ive heard alot of people doing N/A's as turbos etc but they tend to end i disaster as obviously the N/A block wont handle the power and pressure going through it like a turbo lump would? "Thanks for your interest and no offense taken. Well I originally bought my NA because I wasn't earning as much as I do or did so I couldn't afford a 10k TT Supra at the time. Unfortunately with the current climate with petrol tax etc etc it has devalued my car badly and is now worth 2k less then last year! The thing is nobody wants an NA Supra when you can get twice the power for the same tax bracket. Obviously I don't want to sell my car now for peanuts nor do I want to find an extra 4-5k to buy a TT when I have no idea how its been treated. With my current supra I know the current condition its in and I can't fault the engine at all - its solid. If I had any doubts that its not up to the job I wouldn't press ahead. NA-Turbo projects you may have seen before have bought the basics but haven't bought everything to run a reliable engine. You require more then a just the turbo kit you need all the above listed on my items list plus engine work and especially a Mass Air Pressure sensor to make the car mappable while getting the most accurate result so it doesn't blow up. Recently over in the US there was a new world record for an NA-T engine which made 700 odd HP with stock gasket! So these engines can take a fair amount of punishment as long as you map the fuel and boost properly - thats where most go wrong. Another reason why im doing this project is if I buy a TT supra a decent single turbo kit to run off the GTE engine will cost about 8k all in for just about 50 or so HP above what I will get with my kit."
