"acceptable being up to 89db?!! i doubt ferraris would comply with that. i did a test recently on a 400bhp Fiat Coupe 20VT. with a decatted supersprint system it was about 91db and wasnt intrusive at all quite tame imo. after id built a 3"" system on it it was making 95db with one rear silencer and 93db with two silencers which in real terms was very reasonable. the measurements were taken 0.5m away at a 45* angle as is Ten of the Best regulation.
