think i will stick with the AA. if i break down and they cant fix it at the road side they take me to a garage of my choice and fix my car... all i pay is _Ǭ£10 a month im allowed up to 5 call outs a year and repair bills can't be over _Ǭ£500. but still if my clutch radiator etc goes i get it fixed well worth it imo.

"its underwritten by HSBC average call out time of 38 minutes UK and EU cover If they cant fix the car by the side of the road they will also take it to a garage of your choice. They will bring you and the car home to avoid being stranded far away (and this includes from europe) Specialist vans that can take lowered cars safely Up to 6 call outs a year for you and up to 6 pasengers Covers the vehicle so if someone else is borrowing your car they will be covered to the max. Let me know if anyone wants a call."

2 weekends ago my car died (slave cylinder on clutch) and i was of course all the way up in bolton for a weddding. RAC did a fab job sorting me out and though i thought the whole thing was going to be a nightmare it all turned out ok. No way im ever going to not have cover after that!

Agreed i used to have RAC and i used them so much on my old fiats and every time they were fantastic and meant i didnt have to pay any extra to get home what so ever! I have break down my new insurance company now but we will have to see what these are like as the 200 hasnt had any incedents like that yet.... touch wood "
