"these are nissan specialist bolts so i cant see it being likely the oversized nut that the bolts screw into are a weird shape designed to fit into the caliper retainer. what ive done is just bought the full front calipers second hand so i cant get the bolts and retainers and then il just sell the rest on if i dont need it and should any more problems arrise with the front braking system i have spares so i wont have this hassel for the next side lol THIS CAR HAS TO BE READY FOR THE 4th of April so im cutting it abit fine haha "

"right these (touch wood) are just sorted now! i have also gained a spare set of rear slider bolts for the nissan 200sx too should any one need these haha but yes i got sent the rear bolts i was suspect but thought well they look similar so my fit but survey says IGH ORRRG not a chance! emailed the guy and he said it was a honest mistake he is refunding my money sending me the front bolts i need and i can keep the calipers and bolts for the rear he has sent me!! so cant really complain haha @Caz no the s14 uses different braking setups than on the s13 sadly! and the s15 i imagine being even more different still. what i dont understand though is that nissan stated they couldnt supply these bolts at all.... so lets say i want a service and mot done by the main dealer and they needed to replace the calipers and bolts how would they have done it? if as they stated the bolts are now obsolite or will they of just done what i ive done and source them second hand?
