well after at least 4 months of bein off roadi managed to pick up a replacement engine..Covered 56k milesnew head gasketNew cambeltnew water pump and all internals checked and cleaned throughout.No Carbon wotsoever in the manifold ports..All in all seems a nice clean engine..for £70 notes 8-) Needs fitting Breaks: A must! Motin Re insuring and taxing and awayyyyyyyyyy lol doin my tree in drivin that polo..but i love the fuel side of it tho haha Mike

i know how you feel my bottom end went on the focus.. building a brand new engine..

you shouldnt need to mate all wires will only reach where they need to go. and will only fit in one connection anyway

trust me...label them...and put allt he bolts where u found them as u will be left with loads at the end of it!

urs is a ford paul lol fiat are the same but u will find most of the use the same sort of plug so its hard to remeber

i think i will do tbhill 4get what wire went where lol and i know what its like strippin somethin an endin up with bolts and wires that you dont know what went where lol ps that was only with a s1..cvh ty engine haha..had loadsa nuts left over when i 1st took the engine out
