Hi there,

I'm fairly new to this but am currently working with a company that want to partner with a car mod garage for a competition.

The company I work with are looking to give away some money as a prize to a comp for the winner to spend on 'pimping' their car. How much do you think the average car modifier would want to spend in one go?

Also what kind of mods are most popular? I guess you could spend a lot on tuning alone. Do you get people travel far for your service? Do you work on all car makes?

A few questions there! Any advice you could give would be appreciated

Hello Sir!

Unfortunately, we are not a Garage. Its just a little thing me and a friend set up as a hobby to earn some money!
We dont get enough business to do it full time.

Buut.....

In terms of modifying a car, if you had the money, you could spend 1000s in one go and modify it all at once
Where as we are more project like and take a few weeks to design and modify cars.

Now, in terms of the modifications themselves. It depends what your into, if you want speed, then re-maps and performace parts are more popular. But if you want looks, then Bodykits, wheels and paint are your most common items!

We would work on any cars if they came to us, 4x4s. Estates. Saoons. Hatchbacks. Convertables, you name it, we'd gove it a go! But we specialise in smaller cars like 106s, saxos, clios etc.

Thanks
ATeamTuning.

Does it have to be a turbo engine, have you considered getting a bigger VTEC lump? Like a 2.2 16v VTEC? Or a 2L VTEC?
