Hello All,

Im Janine and I'm a newbie here. Please be gentle and let me know if I break any group guidelines.

I have recently started working for a classic car hire company, who also custom build and/or restore vehicles.

We have the opportunity to obtain a decent flocking machine and I have been tasked with trying to find out if its a viable business opportunity as a side line to the main business. So it wouldnt have to be profitable as such just as long as it paid for itself, if you understand what I mean.

My problem is that I have no clue how to find out if flocking is something that would be popular amongst customisers? Would you send off parts of your car to to be flocked??

Any general information on the subject or indeed just pointing me in the direction of finding the information would be very appreciated.

Im now off to drool over some of the car pictures on here..

Thank you in advance.

Guess it depends on price as with everything.

I tried one of the flocking kits you can pick up off all good Retail websites but the glue dried far too quickly so getting a decent finish on a large piece was pretty much impossible. Smaller parts were ok but the mess afterwards was also a mare.
