"I have an electric ariel that pops up soon as the head unit is turned on now on my ariel there is a wire that comes along with it that has been looped round and taped off? Now im assuming this will be as the standard headunit would only put the ariel up for when the radio is on and so this wire would be for the standard unit maybe? any thoughts welcome"

"maybe if its a non standard radio then the original had a remote turn on especially for the ariel. if you put a feed to it does the ariel go up?"
