Fiat Grande Punto

The Fiat Grande Punto was launched at the Frankfurt Motor Show in May 2005. This is the third generation Fiat supermini to have the name Punto. Even though the model shares part of its name with the previous Punto, a large number of its features and components are new. These new features can be seen in this models chassis and body shell.

The Grande Punto handles well because of its excellent body control, its grip and also the steering responds quickly. The car is easy to manoeuvre around parking spaces, but does have some problems on twistier roads.

There is plenty of space inside the Grande Punto for all the passengers and the driver. The boot is extremely spacious and inside storage is also impressive. The seats are comfortable and the drivers seat is height adjustable to ensure a comfortable drive. However, taller drivers may still find the drive uncomfortable, due to the footrest being in an awkward position. The steering wheel is also adjustable for both height and reach. The main problem with the interior of the Grande Punto is the large pillars that obstruct the view of the driver.
