Ford Capri

Car Reviews » Ford » Capri

The Ford Capri was produced by Ford of Britain between 1961 and 1964 and was then produced by Ford of Europe between 1969 and 1986. Ford Motor Company of Australia then produced the Ford/Mercury between 1990 and 1994.

The Capri was classed as a Ford icon when it was first released in 1961. This was due to the Capris exotic looks. The length of the bonnet drew a lot of attention. The Capri was designed as a practical coupe. It was designed to combine the disciplines as a sports car with family transport. It is a full four seater, however, it can be a little cramped in the rear for taller passengers. The rear seats can be folded down separately or together to increase the size of the boot. The equipment inside the cabin depends on which trim level you choose. However, the interior is quite old fashioned.
