Car Reviews » Aston Martin » DB6

The Aston Martin DB6 was first introduced in September 1996 and was the predecessor to the DB5. The final DB6 design started production in January 1971. This means that this it had the longest production of any Aston Martin.

Aston Martin made several changes to the original design of the DB5 to ensure that the DB6 was an improved version of its predecessor. The DB6 had improved aerodynamics and specifications over the DB5. The chassis design of the DB5 was slightly lengthened and had a rear spoiler added for the DB6. Other changes saw there being more room in the back for rear passengers, and its roof line was raised by at least two inches. The DB6 also came with standard chrome wire wheels and optional power steering.
