The Aston Martin DB7 was launched at the Geneva Motor Show in March 1993. The DB7 was made from September 1994 to December 2003 and was a grand tourer. The DB7 were available as either a coupe or convertible. Aston Martin built over 7000 DB7s before it was eventually replaced by the DB9.

The DB7 uses the platform from the Jaguar XJS. Aston Martin did make several changes to the styling of the DB7 to make it different from the Jaguar. The interior has been hailed as the best looking interior since the Jaguar E type. The boot of the DB7 is extremely small and there is limited room in the back for rear passengers. The exterior of the car is also attractive. The grilles have been filled in with horizontal bars and the sills are pronounced. The models interior is designed in leather and walnut. The DB7 did focus a lot attention on to the safety of this model. The DB7 comes with a four channel electronically controlled anti lock system.
