Aston Martin Lagonda Ltd produced the Aston Martini DBS from 1967 to 1972. The DBS is a GT car and featured in the James Bond movie On Her Majestys Secret Service. The DBS was designed as the successor to the DB5. The DBS was a larger coupe to the DB5. Aston Martin designed the DBS to have a more modern look compared to their previous models. For example, the model has a squared off front grille and did not include as many gadgets as were found in other Aston Martin Models. However, it included some recognisable Aston Martin features including side air vents, and a bonnet scoop. This model was the last David Brown Aston Martin ever produced.
The DBS does not have a lot of room inside for taller passengers. The drivers seat does not extend very far back, which will also make it an uncomfortable driver for taller drivers. The model is essentially a two seater car with rear parcel shelves. However, the parcel shelve can be replaced by too extremely small seats. If this option is taken, there is very little room in the back for rear passengers and could result in the passengers feeling claustrophobic. The seats are comfortable to sit in and do support the driver and passengers. The interior is designed in leather which makes the inside of the car attractive.
The model does have a number of standard safety features. It comes with traction and stability control. The model does not include side curtain airbags, but does come with side air bags. The DBS was also designed with antilock carbon-ceramic disk brakes.
