Nissan Skyline

Car Reviews » Nissan » Skyline

The Prince Motor Company first produced the Nissan Skyline in 1957, and then by Nissan from 1966 when the two companies merged into one company. The Skyline is available in 2 body styles, the Coupe or Sedan.

The interior is surprisingly spacious. Both the driver and the passenger have ample head and leg room in the front, and the rear passengers also have adequate room. The boot is also spacious. The seats are comfortable as they are figure hugging. There is nothing exciting about the interior of the cabin. It is mainly black. The dials are nicely laid out and easy to use. Another nice feature of the Skyline is that the rear seats are slightly lower than the front seats. This mean you can see over the heads of rear passengers.

The Skyline has been designed to help the driver drive the car. The 200SX is rear wheel drive, however, if loss of traction does occur, power can be evenly distributed between the front and rear wheels. Also, the rear wheels will turn in the opposite direction to the front to aid the car when it is turning into a bend. There is also limited slip differential in the rear. This means torque will be channelled to the left or the right depending on where the grip is.
