The Audi A2 was produced from 1999 to 2005 and is a compact MPV available as a five door hatchback. The Audi A2 was first shown at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 1997.

The Audi A2 is made from aluminium. This results in the car being light which is an advantage to some cars. The front of the car features a design called Serviceklappe that translates to service hatch in English. Early cars included a black panel on the lower edge of the bonnet. Underneath the panel are the filling points for the oil and screen wash. The rear window is low so visibility through the rear window is good.

The interior is spacious for both front and rear passengers, and also has a large amount of headroom. The model has a large amount of space in the boot. There is also lots of additional storage. There is a storage box placed in the rear passenger foot well, and a false floor in the boot that increases the amount of storage space. There is a choice of interiors, including the material on the cars seats. So the driver can choice a style that suits them.
