The Audi A4 has been produced since 1994 and is a front wheel compact executive car. The A4 was the successor to the Audi 80. The A4 is based on the platform of the Volkswagen Group B series. The car is available as a saloon and as an estate. The A4 has a long low profile that makes it pleasing to the eye.

The suspension of the model is firm, which makes this a comfortable ride. There is excellent bump absorption on the model. The A4 has excellent body control and feels safe on corners. The seats are comfortable, and some models are fitted with special sport seats. These seats have pronounced side bolsters that hold passengers in place. The A4 is spacious for the driver and the front passenger. There is less room in the back for rear passengers, but it is still quite spacious compared to some other models. This is due to the longer wheelbase on this model. The A4 also has a large boot. The large central console does cut into the knee space, which will annoy taller drivers. The A4 is fitted with passenger and driver airbags.The brakes are fitted with ABS that are strong and powerful. An Electrical Stability Programme is fitted to help prevent the chance of wheel spin.
