Chevrolet Captiva

The Chevrolet Captiva is a crossover SUV and is known as the Daewoo Winstorm outside of Europe, the Middle East, India and South East Asia. The Captiva is based on the concept car called the Chevrolet S3X that was produced in 2004.

The Captiva’s appearance has a tall and chunky appearance. The small details of the car makes it look like it has an impressive off road capability. The roof rails and plastic side mouldings add to the overall look of the model. The interior is spacious and there is the option of adding a third row of seats. However, there will be limited room for the passengers sitting on the third row of seats. If you do add the third row seats, you can fold them flat when they are not in use to greatly improve the size of the boot. You can access the rear by opening the rear glass rather than having to raise the whole tailgate to access the boot.

The dashboard is neatly designed and the centre console adds to the appearance of the interior. The cabin is made up of hard plastic that has a solid quality to it. The main problem of the design is that the heating adjustments and stereo are fitted extremely low. This makes it a bit difficult to use. Placed above this is a storage compartment. There are certain features that come as standard, such as electric and heated door mirrors, and remote central locking.
