The Citroen C5 has been produced since 2001 and is a large family car. The C5 was produced to replace the Citroen Xantia. The C5 has been described as being extremely practical, within enough room inside to fit 5 people. The C5 is available in a wide range of petrol and diesel engines. The model is available in estate models and also five door models. The C5 has gained popularity due to its regular cash back offers.

The exterior of the C5 draws attention. It has a large attractive front grille and includes sweeping headlights. The C5 offers a smooth ride on motorways; however, on small roads the C5 has difficulty handling corners. The C5 is also very good on fuel economy.

The interior is also attractive. The dashboard is well laid out and easy to use. The interior comprises of soft plastics and comes equipped with a leather steering wheel. Higher priced versions of this model come equipped with leather seats. The car has plenty of space on the inside, however, when there is a large driver in the car, the space in the rear is greatly reduced. This is not a problem on short journeys but the rear passengers may become uncomfortable on long journeys. The boot is spacious.
