Car Reviews » Citroen » Xsara
The Citroen Xsara was produced between 1997 and 2006 and is a small family car. The Xsara was released as the replacement to the Citroen ZX. Like the ZX, the Xsara shares its running gear with the Peugeot 306. The Xsara was available as a five door estate, as a three and five door hatchback.
The exterior of the car is clean and simple. The shape is simple, but does make the Xsara look self conscious on the road. The interior is also simple and lacks anything that would make anyone get excited. The dashboard is dark and dull. The base model comes fitted with limited equipment. There is a drivers air bag, central locking and tinted glass. If you wanted anything extra, like an electric sunroof, you will have to pay extra.
The interior is spacious and all the passengers and the driver have adequate room. The boot is also spacious and ideal for a small family. There is an option of adding a CD changer. However, this has to be fitted into the boot floor. This eats in to the boot space. The steering wheel is adjustable for both height and reach. This makes the ride more comfortable for the driver.
