Chrysler PT Cruiser

Car Reviews » Chrysler » PT Cruiser

The Chrysler PT Cruiser was launched as a five door hatchback in late 1999 and as a 2 door convertible in 2005. The PT Cruiser is a retro style compact car. The PT in this cars name stands for Personal Transport. This model offers an alternative to other family hatchbacks with its distinctive looks.

The interior is spacious for the driver and all of its passengers. The seats are reasonably comfortable. However, some passengers might find the seats too up right. The rear bench could be said to feel less comfortable for longer journeys. The seat is adequate for shorter journeys. The rear seats can be removed, however, this can be difficult. The rear seats can fold flat, which along with the wide opening tailgate increases the amount of space in the PT Cruiser. Interior storage space is lacking due to the very small glove box.

The exterior of the car sets it apart from other cars on the road today. It takes its styling from the 1930’s in that it has a stand up front grille. This makes the front look almost like a trunk. The unique styling will draw a lot of attention. The styling isn’t to everyones taste however. This type of styling may not be what we are used to seeing.
