The Ferrari 308 is a 3L, 8 Cylinder sports cars. There are two different types of the 308, a 308 GT4 2+2 V8 and a 308 GTB/GTS 2 seat version of the GT4.
The 308 GT4 was first introduced at the Paris Auto Show in November 1973 and was the first mid engine sports car produced by Ferrari. It received a lot of attention thanks to its angular lines that were different to the lines featured on the Ferrari 246. This type of styling was controversial at the time and some did not like it.
The 308 GTB/GTS was first introduced at the Paris motor show in 1975 as the replacement for the Dino 246. Ferrari used a combination of designs to ensure this model drew a lot of attention. They used elements of the Daytona, the Dino and the Berlinetta Boxer. The lines of this model were a lot more sweeping and aggressive than the 308 GT4. This model was made famous by the programme Magnum PI.
