The Ferrari 400 was first launched at the Paris Motor Show in 1976, was a front engined 2+2 Coupe cars. The 400 stopped being produced in 1989. The design of this model was almost identical to the Ferrari 365 GT4 2+2. The 400 was produced in limited numbers so this could become a classic. Ferrari designed this car to be sold in the American market, however, none of the models produced were ever sold in America. The 400 is available in two different transmission systems. These are a three speed automatic and a five speed manual transmission system. The 400 was the first Ferrari that was available in both manual and automatic.

The 400 is more of a family car compared to other Ferraris available. There is lots of room in the front for the driver and the front passenger. There is enough room in the rear to fit two small children. This is unusual for other Ferraris available.
