Ferrari 456

The Ferrari 456 was produced from 1992 to 2003 and is a front engined grand tourer. The 456 was released as the replacement for the Ferrari 412. The name 456 indicates the fact that each cylinder in the engine displaces 456 cubic centimetres. This was the last Ferrari to use this type of naming technique. The engine is almost the same as the engine found in the 550 and the 575, although it is not as tuned. A second 456 was launched in 1998 and was named 456M. Ferrari made a number of changes to this model to improve the aerodynamics. Differences between the two models can also be seen in the exterior designs. The grille on the 456 is slightly smaller than the one on the 456M.

The space in the interior is very generous to the driver and the front passenger. The space in the back is limited and only the very small would be comfortable to travel a long distance in this vehicle. The cabin has a luxurious feel to it due to the leather on the dashboard, doors and seats. The buyer could request the leather in a range of colours, but the most popular ones had black or cream dashboard with contrasting seats.
