Ferrari 599

The Ferrari 599 was launched at the Geneva Motor Show in February 2006 and was a two seater designed to replace the 575 M Maranello. The 599 is a rear wheel drive, front mid engine car.

The external of the car is distinctive looking and will draw a lot of attention. The familiar circular quad rear lights that can usually be found on Ferraris cannot be found on the 599. The lights on the 599 are round and singular and this has resulted in the number plate being raised on the 599. Ferrari has designed the 599 to make it as aerodynamic as possible. The flatter underbelly of the car results in the suction underneath the car is greater than the lift on the upper body of the car.

Even though the 599 is a two seater tourer, there is adequate room in the interior for the driver and its passenger. There is enough leg room and head room that makes the car comfortable to be in. There is plenty of storage space in the boot and everything in the cabin is easy to use and accessible. The car handles well, but the ride can feel firm at times. The steering is light and makes parking a lot easier. The 599 comes fitted with extras as standard. These include dual zone climate control, powered seats, heated door mirrors and bi-xenon lamps.
