The Ferrari F50 was introduced in 1995 and is a mid engine sports car. The F50 was introduced to celebrate Ferrari's 50th anniversary. The F50 is a two door two seater with a removable hard top. Ferrari only made 349 models and this was one less than they thought the market would demand. This was because Ferrari wanted this model to be rare and hard to find.

Ferrari designed this model to be extremely aerodynamic. The body was made out of carbon fibre and was available in five colours : red, red Barchetta, black, yellow and grey. The carbon fibre ensured that the model was light and weighed just 225lb.

The interior was designed to feel like a sports car. The driver and the passenger sit in the central hub that has been formed by the chassis. The driving position was designed to be totally adjustable, to ensure a comfortable driving position for all types of drivers. The pedals were also designed to be adjusted to the drivers shoe size. The climate control fitted into the model was designed to ensure comfort in all the different conditions.
