The Ferrari Mondial was produced between the years of 1980 to 1993. The 2+2 coupe was designed to replace the more angular 208/308 GT4. The Ferrari Mondail was named after the 500 Mondial racing car from the 1950's. The Ferrari model was originally released as a mid sized coupe and then was later released as a cabriolet. The Mondial was designed to be more usable compared to its predecessors. The Mondial has the practicality of being a four door car and the performance of a Ferrari.

The Mondial has a higher roofline than other Ferrari's available. This ensures that the passengers and the driver are comfortable. The Mondial also has a one long single door on either side of the model. This makes access into the car easier. The interior is not very spacious for adults. The boot is also quite spacious for this type of vehicle. The interior also features some added extras. For example, the arm rest between the rear sits include a first aid kit. The interior is also very attractive. There is hand stitched leather on the seats and on the door panels.
