Volkswagen Golf
The Volkswagen Golf is a medium sized, front wheel-drive, hatchback and is one on Volkswagens best selling models. With the first Mk1 Golf being released in 1974 and their latest MK5 which was launched in 2007 to present day. It is clear that although it has been modernised through the stages, the Volkwagen Golf is definatly a "peoples" car.
Volkswagen Polo
The Volkswagen Polo is a small, front wheel-drive, hatchback. There have been four different variations of the Polo, Each variation of the Polo was modernised during its production, with the updated versions released again but unofficially and can be recognised by an additional letter F to the model number.
Volkswagen Lupo
The Volkswagen Lupo was designed and developed as a city car and is a small, front wheel-drive, hatchback that was produced from 1998 to 2005. It was originally introduced in 1998 into the VW range to fill a gap caused by the increasing size and weight of the VW Polo. The Volkswagen Lupo was manufacturered with a variety of engine sizes, from budget 1.0L models through to the GTI which was the sports model. The 6-speed Lupo GTI is a brilliant hot hatch for any younger driver,Powered by a punchy 1.
6-litre 125bhp enginie which packs a 0-60mph time of only 8.3s and has a max speed 127mph. In 2005 the production of the Lupo ceased, and has been replaced by the VW Fox.
