i have had numorous sub in my cars in the past but lately i have aquired a pop when i turn my engine or head uni off when i first got the car 6months ago and installed all the cabling it was fine but i had to take some family to the airport so i disconnected my sub. when i put it back in i got this pop and when i change track it kind of like rustles a bit lol. i have disconnected and reconnect them but still the same any ideas what it could be?
is it not just a surge of power to the amp? my fiance's car does the same (when hes around to drive it that is!)
lol i have no idea what it is wot ur fella do bout it?
"what sub and amp set as dont quote me but i believe its due to overloading the amp or being close too. as when i had 2 amps a 15 and 2 10s in the old bravo it did this when i turned the ignition on. however my current set up doesnt :S "
in my experience it was the headunit that had blown it got slowly worse and worse until i had serious alt whine changed the amp re-did all the cables in the car eventually bought a new HU and it cured it take note for if it gets worse
"i have temporarily got a 12"" fly sub with built in amp soon to be for sale if any1 wants it cheap. i used to have two 1000watt amps powering two sony explode(dont buy - horrible subs) 12"" subs. so i have still got quite thick cabling for the 600watt amp in the fly. "
