"Ok i believe the oil seals are wearing on my T25 on the 200. So i can pay 50quid for a repair kit to resolve or i can go for the T28 upgrade. My question is i know the T28 uses the T25 piping and fixtures as its more or less the same but does anyone know if this is the same as any larger applications? further more if i wanted a larger say the GT28SR which again uses a similar fixtures would i be then forcing the car to run lean (resulting in worse problems) untill i bought the larger injectors? or should i just go with the safe T28 which isnt massive but will allow for me to open her up to 275hp (obviously with a few other mods) what do we think people as im sort of unsure what to do for the best "

"As is always the question.....how fast = how much money.... Obviously bigger turbo will mean more fuel use so won't just be injectors....fuel pump... Stick to your budget mate...."

"yeh very true after looking into this i think im just going to go for stage 2 and leave it at that for the time and see how i go if i get bored then we can look further. The T28 seems the cheapest option as it was standard on the S14 200sx. the only thing that does interest me is that some ive been looking at claim to kick in at 2500rpm. At the moment its 3500rpm when all hell breaks loose so will definatly become exciting entering roundabouts with the uprated turbo!! well my hunt for a bargin turbo will continue will post more in my project log as we go along."

"ah i see i will have to look into that fella as far as im aware they cant actually map the s13 as such its more actually setting it all up right with the right stage chip. but once ive got everything sorted i will be taking it to that wellane turbo center in leeds or similar to get the car set up propperly to see what they can do and to get it on the rollers to see exactly what power outage she is pushing rather than our current rough estimates lol so much work such little money and time "

"james i would really really really not recomend well lane turbo centre (any more) i used to think they were sh*t hot . but last month i went with a friend to look at an astra GSI they had. He finished work at 5 and they shut at 5.30 we were in pontefract. so ponte to batley in half an hour (good look to any1). we phoned and he said he'd put it away last so we could look still. we got there and he's putting the scooby's porche's and some RS'Ts away . every single one clap cold been stood all day (this is an assumption on my part but what are the odd's that all these cars have been for a good run during the day?) starts them up and rev's the nuts off the lot wheel spins this particular RS into the garage and smash's the bottom of the splitter onto the ramp into the garage because of the speed.(he wasn't even bothered and didnt check for any damage but it went with a right crack). then did the same starting procedure with a 'customers' car ( he couldn't find the keys for it and was asking ""where are the keys for that customers car""? to the other guy there) i'm sure if you were to stay with it they would look after your car but i would strongly recomend you didnt leave it with them weather it was the end of the day and he was late for something i dont know but i can only comment on what i saw. we were disgusted and the astra was a absolute dog what he wanted top money for .
