"I think it would be better for you finncially but like someone said i think you'll live to regret it. Not many people especially people we know that can say they have a newish car in god condition etc. But i suppose if you got another car you would be able to save up and it will be yours rather than payin on finance for years and the car not theoretically been yours. I know everyone does it i mean thats how most people afford cars...on finance but like you say and as i know your paying out loads a month. Just have to have a good think about it and go and ask on sat just to see what they say"

"To be honest I prefer the old cars. Parts are cheaper and can fix yourself. None of these crappy sensors restricting your ride. So much more fun. There's nothing like the sound of throttle bodies or the turbo coming on boost at 20 psi or even kicking out the arse end in the v6 capri muscle "

i would never use finance especially the way the interest rates are heading. i got a letter yesterday offering me a loan at 49% APR!!!! thats just a silly amount! get her sent back phil and get a nice old golf or something similar will beable to do your euro styling still it will still look sexy and it wont cost you half the amount! im interested to to see if they will take it back from you. Let us know what happens Phil.

"well im seriously considering it. @james. when i got the car (aswell as receiving 0% interest so im only paying for the car.) they tell you that once you have payed off the interest if you feel you cant keep up with payment you can simply hand the car back and call it quits. end of. and seeing as i aint had any interest to pay in the first place they in t heory should take the car back anytime. im gunna give them the bull story see if it works. my hours have been cut im getting payed less. if i keep car ne longer i wont be able to make payments and end up in debt etc ect. see if that works lol. yeah i an ideal world i love the older cars. its just having that piece of mind knowing you got a car with 20k miles on clock only had one owner and is relatively new and wont cause you as much grief as an old car. but its been fun watching the jaws drop on my old school mates faces when i see them haha and there on foot and im driving a 53 plate lol.. but as some of you on here have shown the old cars can look 10 times better than the new. "i think that older cars a more reliable if you look after them get them serviced regularly etc new cars a poor manufactures dont make new cars like they used to. Perfect example of this is Mercedes they used to be a very good quality and classy car manufacturer. now they are just rubbish full of bits that fall to peices and dont function propperly old and mean beats young and keen every time "
