What kinda car u drive???

"No torsion bar (although there are metal bars running lengths of the car suggesting there should be a torsion bar) just isolated springs all round. I am skint at the moment so I am looking for the most cost effective methods I can find. New / Second hand springs are probably out of budget but I have seen Spring clamps while looking through the web. They seem like an ideal solution but my worries are that they too will weaken the springs reducing their life. Has anyone ever used spring clamps before?"
