Fiat Sedici

Car Reviews » Fiat » Sedici

The Fiat Sedici was co-developed by Fiat and Suzuki mainly for the European market and is a mini sport utility vehicle. It was launched at the Geneva Motor Show in 2006, and was known as the official vehicle of the 2006 winter Olympics. The Sedici is a 4x4 vehicle and was named Sedici as Sedici means 16 in Italian. The car has been fitted with a button that changes the Sedici from a 4x4 drive into a 4x2 car. The Sedici has been doing very well since its launch. In 2006 it was the second best selling SUV and in 2007 it was the best selling vehicle.

Even though the Sedici is a 4x4, it was designed to be primarily a family car with some off road ability. This vehicle enjoys driving on dusty mud paths and also muddy inclines. The seats in the car are comfortable, but lack support. There is plenty of room in the Sedici and those in the rear have plenty of headroom due to the high roof line. There is a decent amount of boot space, that can be increased by folding the rear seats flat. The dash is well laid out and easy to use. The steering wheel, however, only adjusts for height, not reach.
