The Fiat Tempra was produced between 1990 and 1998. The Tempra was launched as the replacement to the Fiat Regata and is a small family car. The original Tempra project was known as the Tipo 2 project. This was because the Tempras is a mid sized car between the Fiat Tipo and the larger Fiat Croma. The Tempra was received well when it was launched and won the car of the car at the Semperit Irish Car of the Car awards in 1991.

The Tempra is generally well equipped, however, the interior is not very exciting. The space in the car is well utilised. There is adequate space for 4 adults and all four will feel comfortable even on longer journeys. The drivers seat is also very comfortable, as it adjustable for height. The drivers seating position can also be improved thanks to the steering wheel being adjustable.
