The Land Rover is operated by the group Jaguar Land Rover group, which is owned by the Tatar Group and is based in the UK. The Land Rover is a multi purpose vehicle and was originally launched in 1948
at the Amsterdam Motor Show. Originally part of the Rover company, the Land Rover soon became a brand name in its own right. The Land Rover began to design a range of four wheel drive cars and is now
one of the longest running manufacturers. The original Land Rover became known for its longetivity. The company used a rustproof material, (alloy), made up of aluminium and magnesium to ensure the car
would cope in the toughest of conditions.It is thought that due to this, 75% of the original cars produced are still in use to this day.
