engineering consultancy. The engineering consultancy side of the company provides engineering developments to other car companies. Lotus is commonly known by its connection to Formula 1. Lotus was
among those who engineered the design of adding wings to the car to increase down force and moving the radiators to the side of the car to increase the aerodynamics of the car.
