Nissan first started in 1932 and is a multinational car manufacturer based in Japan. It was formerly a big part of the Nissan Group, but then became more independent after Ghosn began restructuring
the company. Nissan formerly marketed vehicles under the name of Datsun. In 1999 Nissan made an alliance with Renault and by 2008 Renault owned 44.4% of Nissan.
