Chevrolet Lacetti

Car Reviews » Chevrolet » Lacetti

The Chevrolet Lacetti started being produced in 2002 and is a compact car. The first generation of the Lacetti were released in 3 different body styles, the four door sedan, the five door station wagon and the five door hatchback. The second generation of the Lacetti was launched in 2008 under the name of Lacetti Premiere.

The cabin of the car is effective and functional. The seats are adjustable for height and the steering wheel is also adjustable so the driver can ensure that they are comfortable whilst they are at the wheel. The space available in the boot is reasonable and the split rear seat allows the boot to be extended when required. The boot has a high load platform and shallow lip that makes the boot useful for large items. Chevrolet has ensured there are a number of hidden compartments in the model that increases the amount of storage space.

The rear seats are spacious and comfortable, but it could be said that they are a little shapeless. The dashboard is easy to use and understand. It is uncluttered and simple. The dials are easy to reach for the driver.

The Lacetti was used in the Top Gear segment, Stars in a reasonably priced car in series 8 broadcast in 2006 and replaced the Suzuki Liana.
