Chrysler Grand Voyager

Car Reviews » Chrysler » Grand Voyager

The Chrysler Grand Voyager was first introduced in Europe in 1988 and is a minivan. The Grand Voyager is almost identical to the Plymouth Voyager. The only visual difference between the two models were the head/taillights and grille. The Grand voyager is available in both petrol and diesel engines.

The Grand Voyager has not scored well on several safety tests. Early Grand Voyager’s scored no points on the fontal impact tests. It was found that the bodywork became unstable and the steering column would be driven into the drivers chest and head. The later models scored slightly higher on these tests.

The interior is spacious, so all passengers and its driver have a comfortable ride. It is also relatively easy to get in and out of the car. The doors open wide and the amount of head room in the car makes it easier to get into the car. Rear doors can be opened remotely from the key fob. This makes access easier.

The Voyager sits quite high and this gives you a clear view of the road in front. However, the driver must be aware that some road users will be lower than your normal line of vision. The visual advantage helps when parking. Parking sensors also make this easier. The car is also fitted with a reversing camera.
