The Daihatsu Move has been produced since August 1995. The Move was designed on the same platform as the Daihatsu Cuore, however, the Move has a slightly taller body than the Cuore. The Move is also very similar to the Mira. The Move is, again, taller than the Mira, but it has been argued that this added height is meaningless as it is rarely put into use.
The Move looks small from the outside and are powered by tiny fuel efficient engines. The Move is narrower and smaller than the mini, so there isn’t much room on the inside. This being said, it is still quite comfortable, even on long journeys. The interior does not have a lot of added extras as standard. There is the rear windscreen wiper and additional head restraints.
The Move does come fitted with a number of safety and security features fitted as standard. These include a drivers air bag and side impact protection. An engine immobiliser is also fitted as standard.
