it says that for the hoses coming off the rocker cover you can get breather filters basicly like minature air filters that are made for that bit. dont cost much at all.

I think the top one is the crank case breather as its a rubber vacumm hose but the lower one is wrapped in plastic tubing which you usually do with electrics - thats why I think its the MAF or air flow meter

ok cheers well i am gonna order a pipercross now and i can get the breather thing from halfords for the pipe at the top. the one at the back i am just gonna cut off lower down yeah? dont need to do anything else?

no dazzi that bottom one with the yellow clip on is just a breather pipe for the engine :S it just sends air from air box to there. so a small breather hose from halfords will clip right on. and then bolt the piper cross filter directly on throttle body. that hose at the back i would recommend just bending it down and cable tieing it somewhere fella just incase you need it at a later date.

" thats basicly what you want for your rocker cover fella. it just clips on this is on a 306 GTI but you can se what i mean by clamping air filter directly to throttle body. "
