Phil :S thats the wierdest thing ive ever heard lol drain power that might be left over? i thought that only applied with fluids. i thought with electrics as soon as u disconnected it that was it all gone lol ? so would like turning lights on heaters. spot lights etc drain it aswell?
Turning on electrical parts of the car won't do bugger all. When you press the break a connection is made with your ABS (if you have it) and also your rear lights. "

Think of it this way - if you took your car to a garage to have the battery replaced they would disconnect it if you took you car to a garage with an electrical problem they would disconnect it...

well i asked him what he used and apparantly it was this gadget that connects to both neg and pos of battery and theres a block inbetween the wires that he said when welding it stops it doing something and also its so you dont have to disconnect the battery and lose al your settings
