whats this noise

"its the engine code / type . if yours is a 1.4 it'll be a TU4 possibly ? not 2 clued up on the TU's mine is a XU5JA which translates to a late 1 6gti engine. XUD= diesel vers TUD= diesel vers the TU is in the 106 206 306 406 etc and late 205's (only the carb'd ones though IIRC) only thing i've ever come across on them is the spray bar on the cam blocking causing the cam to snap - nasty but still with regard to the mirror you must of crossed a black cat put new shoes on a table crossed on the stairs and ran under a ladder. oh and crossed knives + every other wives tale going. for the amount of bad look you've had . johny"

haha yeah i aint having much luck am i but even so everything that has gone wrong with the car is self inflicted sort of. as about 3/4 week ago i caught the under side of my car on a path while parking up (half on half off the path) so i recon that damaged the pump either that or the steering rack.
