jay im afraid u are very wrong my friend. i did some lowering springs today and the springs are alot shorter than OE but ones fitted to the shocks they are the same size because ones u lower the car onto them the shock will compress and then itll cause it to go lower. but the spring it self is smaller

Jay22q7w4tn]No...the shockers wont be compressed at all a lowering spring is only slightly different to a standard the no difference in size just the lowering springs coil is much more compact insted of spaced out like a normal one[/quote:22q7w4tn] actually it depends what kit you gt they vary some come with tighter coils and some actually are physically shorter. depends what you want out of your car and what your using it for a half decent kit from avo or gaz are about 450 but are stil only for cosmetic reasons really due to the lack of adjustment (ony height and re bound) if you want something more proper go for ledas or bilstein or remote reigers 3500 lol
