Quote:
Phil no dazzi that bottom one with the yellow clip on is just a breather pipe for the engine :S it just sends air from air box to there. so a small breather hose from halfords will clip right on. and then bolt the piper cross filter directly on throttle body. that hose at the back i would recommend just bending it down and cable tieing it somewhere fella just incase you need it at a later date.
That pipe was obviously put there for a reason Phil I wouldn't tuck it out the way let alone bend it. It might be a vacumm line that keeps your engine stable. Your mate might say he hasn't had any problems but you don't know what damage its doing till its too late. If oil can't get to the right chambers because of the wrong pressure your buggered all for the sake of a couple of quid for a hose nipple."

i wouldn't kink a breather pipe if you get adverse pressure it'll blow seals left right + centre weather it be gearbox engine diff.

Money well spent? Have you even fitted it and tested the car?
