"ok ive been looking at remapping companys and ive heard alot about blue fin (http://www.mybluefin.co.uk/) they boast that their main advantages are:

Quote:
As well as being able to improve your vehicle's performance bluefin can also be used... to return your vehicle to its original settings as a diagnostic tool to find faults on your vehicle* as an immobiliser/re-mobiliser*
im just trying to work out if this would be worth while and if anyone else has used em. or can you recomend a decent re-mapping company"

"Hey James have you mapped your car before? Odd thing is with Non turbo supras (like mine) you can only reset the ECU by disconnect the power but you can't remap With the Bravo you must be able to remap surely. Mapping the ECU is pretty easy but when a turbo is involved you hits a few problems. First you need to tune the ECU then up the boost then retune the ECU to a more leaner mixture the turn the boost up some more - well thats the proper job as you can't tune your ECU then tune the turbo to the max as it could be running too lean. Thats why it can take 4 hours and cost 600 quid for a basic map! Sorry about that ^ got a bit carried away with the tech stuff again DOH!"

haha it was mapped but she needs an uprated clutch so it got mapped down so im after a uprated clutch (150quid so not too bad) and then im gonna get a map im really tempted with this bluefin tho as with it giving diagnostics too would save me alot of fiat bills as being a fiat it has alot of faults also ive heard nothing but good about them
