"I'll ask my mate about your clutch James. He does a full service on a diesel for 150 quid. Cambelt usually 40 quid - very cheap but good quality work. BTW hes based in Harrogate so not sure how you will get anywhere without a brake down truck. Daz"

baring in mind this is just for fitting too!! i wouldnt want to know what fiat would quote if i asked for the clutch as well and they would only provide the standard clutch too (the performance one works out cheaper )

A performance clutch from the States is 375 quid inc postage. Over here Mr T (Toyota) quoted 495 + fitting. I can get it fitted for 100 quid.

"well ive just ordered the top spec racing clutch for the fiat bravo that apparently will hold upto 250BHP without slippage. i doubt it being that strong to be fair but well its worth a try now just need it fitting so im back on the road again!! im looking forward to it too as before the clutch slipped so much i just had to drive around it! and believe me it would get very annoying at times when i would floor it and you just get this awefull judder before she picked up. wow thats good that mate!! i think its an engine out job for the bravo as the the engine bays pretty small and the 1.9 engine fills it quite abit but well see id say obviously cant really get to harrogate with no clutch so i think im going to have to go with the quote i got for 200. with clutch on its way next few days just gonna get her booked in as all this walking malarky is a joke!! lol
