"well ive changed everything i can think of from a egr valve to havin a new head gasket on n havin the head skimmed and its still misfiring and doesnt seem to be fueling properly ive ordered a fuel pump to see if this is the problem what do you guys think ??"

Correct sparks? Coil pack change recently? what about your dizzy cap and rotor arm?

my mondeo did similar thing was miss firing constantly.. new coil pack.. ran like a dream

"i'd doubt its the fuel pump like the lads say coil pack dizzy cap and rotor arm. when were the plugs last done? have they been set up properly(clearances)? HT leads age? condition? i was doin a missfire on a m8's golf and 2 of 6 where green in the middle. also for the EGR i'd blank it off and see how it runs. does it have the twinport engine?"
