"Does anyone know how to or know anyone who can lower torsion bars for reasonably cheap? ive been quoted some stupid prices and its pissing me off. i found £40 this morning just randomly on the floor so im using that to buy the front springs and me and my cousin will fit them. but the rear end will look . so need that lowering? anyone help out ?"

The job won't be cheap mate. A lot of work is envolved and some serious kit to buy. BTW thats my 40 quid I dropped it when I was cutting your brake lines... DOH!
i know it wont be cheap to do. but im trying to save for it just something alot lower than the £200 i was quoted

can't you get lowering springs? do you really need torsen bars? my car doesn't.
i dont know its whats on the car. springs on front torsion on the back. i can imagin it costing a HELL of a lot more to convert to springs!?

having the torsion bar done on pugs is supposed to be pretty easy! id ask johny as i believe hes done it before. could be wrong mind
shows how much i know about peugeots
well as it happens james johny had an old axle in his garden so he had a play with that to see about doing the torsion bars. but he lost all tension in them. so should it be on a car it wud just be on its arse with arches resting on wheels
