"just dab it and build it up in layers and take your time! then get some compound polish (im sure grant will comment on which grade) and just buff it to blend with the car once the paints dry obviously!"

"First of all.... do you have a steady hand??? Obviously alot of this is dependant on what level of finish you want. Time and patience are the key elements here. Also it's quite hard to explain aswell as not sure if you've got machine polisher etc..... don't use the applicator supplied either. use either a paperclip or a modelling paintbrush (v fine bristles ) Best way is to build up the layers. dab paint into the scratch and leave to cure/harden. Keep doing this untill paint is level or proud of existing paintwork. Once at this level leave again to cure/harden. When happy that paint has hardened. Wet flat proud paint with a minimum 1500 grade sandpaper.. Taking care to take your time and just wet flat till level with existing paint and surrounding area (bout a couple of millimeters either side) don't matter if it's a bigger area either. Once happy that all is level need machine polisher and some Grade 3 grade 2 compound and finishing compound. hope you guys are getting this.... If your machine polisher has an adjustable RPM setting set it nice and slow. Apply 3g liberally to dull area spray a light misting of water to panel and then place polisher on area (no need to apply pressure) and work over area in steady movements not staying in same area too long. Repeat untill dullness disappears. Then the same with 2g as this is a finer cut of paste. Probably not the best explanation in the world but that's how i do it at work..and it'squite difficult to explain how to machine polish properly without actually physically showing you. I hope it's of some use. If not bring car to me "
