pug 306 gti-6

Guys hi I have had my gti-6 for 6 months now and when i first bought it after a couple of weeks i started to lose power at varying speeds.The power would drop off by about 10mph and the only way i could get it back again was to either wait a few seconds or change down gear and constantly rev this has now over time got magnified and even stalling and quite frankly giving me the hump.Has anyone suffered this problem if so i would be very interested in hearing your views
